Welcome to Sign & Sing, a brand new offering and a first of its kind joint venture between two of the top early childhood learning programs in America, Kindermusik and Signing Smart! Use the power of music, song, and play to create unique opportunities to share ASL signing with your child. The Sign & Sing curriculum creates a setting well-suited to fun, communication, and learning. Sign a song of bears, balls, or bubbles! Watch– can your hands say ‘music’ to the beat? In every class, learn new, useful, and interesting ‘target’ signs to add to you and your child’s growing vocabulary as you sing, dance, and play your way to both increased early communication and long-term learning.

Listen to instruments and to each other, learn from peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special class, your children will strengthen ties with each other and with you, all while developing the skills they'll need in school and on the neighborhood playground. How many ways can Baby and Parent zoom in Kindermusik Village? Hop in the Zoom Buggy! and find out! Through a variety of songs, chants, and instrumental selections you and Baby will experience the rumbling of a baby buggy, the squeaky stroller, the bumpa bumpa bumpa of the wagon, the train chugging up the track and much more.
Baby is the star in Dream Pillow, with each activity carefully planned to stimulate his developing brain, thereby promoting physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and language development. But it is the parent who is watching and guiding this little star on the rise, and Dream Pillow, like all Village units, is written with the parent very much in mind. At Home Materials for each unit include: Literature Book, Baby-safe Instrument, Home CD, Art Banners and Clear Storage and Carry Bag

Captured in Milk & Cookies, these special moments at home are times to be shared and treasured.
Milk & Cookies songs and activities promote interaction between parent and child where the parent gently guides their child's learning and the process of scaffolding takes place. Capturing the security, excitement and familiarity of "at home" moments is the ideal theme for empowering the parent to act as teacher. Books, storytelling, language, drama, puppets are the essential ingredients in all Imagine That! units. Hello, Weather! Let’s Play Together is no exception, encouraging families to music and special times together in all types of weather! Children will explore a variety of musical concepts, like fast and slow and loud and soft. Adding to the thrill are at home projects such as making wind chimes, rain hats, sleigh bells and snow boots!
At Home Materials include: Story Play Cube, Two Literature Books, Two Home CDs, Kindermusik Ankle Bells and a Rain Shaker with Scraper and Imagine That! backpack.

Explore many facets of music – speaking, singing, moving, listening, creating, playing instruments, and learning about reading and writing music. Creative movement or dances are interspersed with quiet activities like drawing or focused listening. The curriculum introduces the glockenspiel, a pre-keyboard instrument, and string and woodwind instruments like the dulcimer and recorder. Young Child is the perfect pressure-free preparation for formal instruction in piano, violin or voice. Semester 1 of Kindermusik for the Young Child opens the world to new and different ways of learning about music. The focus and content includes beat versus no beat, percussion instruments, brass instruments, melodic direction, exploring the staff, and notation. Semester 1 also introduces the glockenspiel, a pre-keyboard instrument. Themes include “Music is Everywhere”, “Meet the Mallets”, and “Discovering Melody and Mozart.” Children are delighted to learn more about stringed instruments with the introduction to their very own dulcimers in Semester 3. Other musical concepts taught include call and response, improvisation, meter, notation, and a touch of Tchaikovsky. Themes include “Music of Appalachia”, “Music of the Sea”, and “Native American Music”. At Home Materials include: Purple Carry Bag (Semester 1 only), Folder, Activity Pages and Stickers, Weekly Music at Home cards, Games Bag and Manipulatives, Family Songbook and Home CD and Glockenspiel (Semester 1), Dulcimer with carry bag (Semester 3)
